Will the lack of capacity at Schiphol Airport finally come towards an end?

The last few months several – if not all – airlines and forwarders at Schiphol Airport are coping with limited and reduced capacity, due to the withdrawal of landing slots of several cargo-operators. An overflow of cargo and lack of capacity is putting all parties involved under tremendous pressure, causing a serious bottleneck at the airport. Last Thursday Schiphol and the KLM came with a proposal to give cargo-operators more time and space. Will this be the solution and end to our problems?

Urgent hand carry to Kazakhstan

For our valued partner in the oil & gas industry we handled a top urgent shipment originating from Italy, to be delivered in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, in an extremely short timeframe. Ordinary airfreight was not fast enough and eventually multiple hand carry operations were needed to get the shipment at the destination on time.

For one of our valued pharma clients, we have handled medical supplies meant for a humanitarian aid and relief project in Uganda. The goods were stored in our Schiphol warehouse for several weeks and were re-iced numerous times before they were exported by airfreight to the capital city of this Eastern African country, Kampala.
