Top urgent computer equipment to Dubai World Central

We were contacted by our client to move a top urgent and very large shipment to Dubai World Central (DWC). The shipment consists of 87 pallets, a gross weight of 15 tons and a volume of 134 m3. The catch was that the shipment was already delivered to the ground handler by another forwarder, who failed to issue the documents in accordance with the lithium battery regulations and was unable to solve the matter. We were involved by our client to solve the situation and move the shipment with most urgency to its final destination.

We used our creative way of working to book this shipment with another airline at a ‘must-go’ rate. This airline used another ground handler and we had to retrieve the shipment back to our warehouse first. In the meantime we arranged for the airline to direct load at our warehouse and got the shipment at the final destination in the fastest way possible.
